Finnish-born and LA-based, singer/songwriter/pianist Ruut's career has taken her to stages on three continents. As an artist on EMI Scandinavia and as an indie in the states, she has collaborated with some of the most successful pop production and writing teams in the industry, like The Matrix (Avril Lavigne), Jeff Trott (Sheryl Crow), and Rob Hoffman (Christina Aguilera). Ruut's gifts as session player and vocalist and her extensive background teaching piano to players of all ages make her a versatile, experienced, and talented educator. Ruut will teach piano as well as The Art & Arrangement of Background Vocals in The Working Musician Program.
